Well, that's a wrap on ATJ, only 2 nights, but an amazing experience none the less, and as I'm sure you will have noticed, I'll take any opportunity to get up on stage, especially with friends, no feeling in the world can compare.

My first time doing a dinner show, certainly an interesting experience, but one I definitely think I'll go for again. Possibly unsurprisingly, highlights of the show were the lovely Cluett sisters singing The World Will Remember Us, Bobby singing Mack the Knife, River's Don't Rain On My Parade and of course, Molly's rendition of Maybe This Time.

As for me, I ended up with a good few numbers, Luck Be A Lady, I've Got Rhythm, Seasons of Love, Naughty Baby, Rocking The Boat, and Light (with the excellent performers I sang it with for WE2B). I won't lie, a few were hard to learn (unlearn may be a better way to put it), having to learn different parts for songs you know inside and out is bloody hard work, I struggled particularly with Seasons of Love, as many of us did, but we got there in the end, and that's what matters.

Slight break while writing this, just finished supervising my minions setup for a film, so I've got a good two hours to kill.

Back to... wherever it was we were (pauses to read). Ah, yes! ATJ, it was an incredible show, admittedly our first night was better than the second, but there always has to be a better night, and nine times out of ten, it won't be the second, regardless of how long the run is.

The post show depression has hit slightly, but we're about to go into Kip's rehearsals at full steam, we've already had quite a few preliminary ones, but we start the proper three times a week in April, so I don't really have time to let it get me down.

Work continues to be work, but the easter break starts after tomorrow, so while I'll still be working (other than the bank holidays) it should be a bit less hectic than usual, a bit more interesting too.

Harmonies and high notes are proving a little difficult when it comes to Kipps, but now that we've finished ATJ my singing teacher and I are going to start focusing on Kipps, of course while rehearsing with friends as much as possible, and official rehearsals three times a week, I'll get there, just a matter of time.

The song of the moment is, obviously, All That Jazz from Chicago, the opening number of the last show, that sadly (if understandably) I wasn't in. One of my favourite musical songs, I know it by heart, hope you enjoy it too.

Bye for now,

Love, Adam XxX
