A little bit about me

I was born and raised in Luton, Bedfordshire, for the first eighteen years of my life, always a lover of music and performance, it wasn't until I was a teenager that I actually really started to get into plays and musicals, at this point it was very much just an interest in watching and listening, but this gradually evolved into a wish to perform myself.

I spent my childhood singing, when I was home alone as a teenager, I would sing for hours and hours on end, every day.

When I was 18, I moved with my parents to Dorset, a very big, though welcome, change. It was here that my life really started to change and improve, in 2022 I started getting involved in the tech side of the local arts centre, including running lighting for several shows going on, this really started to fuel the dormant desire in me to perform.

In early 2023, I heard that the centre was putting on a performance of Grease the musical, I instantly knew that this was it. I didn't want a large part, as this would be my first foray into acting since high school several years before, so I auditioned and joined the ensemble.

Grease just added jet fuel to the fire, and I caught the performance bug, as soon as the show finished, I was looking for the next, which came in the form of Word Sisters, the adaption of the Terry Pratchett novel of the same name.
