A Colourful World

Pain, Auditions, and Rehearsals

I write this while preparing for an audition that I'm doing in a few hours. It's panto time again, and this time it's The Wizard of Oz, directed by a good friend of mine. I'm going for the dame again, largely because I had so much fun in the role last year.

It's been a busy time recently, I've had a motorcycle accident and have spent quite a while recovering from that, which has annoyingly put me behind somewhat in rehearsal for Bonnie and Clyde, but I'm doing my best to catch up.

I'm currenly off work due to the amount of pain I'm in and the fact that the drugs I'm on mean I can't be on the road, and I have no other way to get to work. I'm so annoyed with the situation but there's not really anything more I can do at the moment other than keep on keeping on. Hopefully I'll be better soon, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

In the meantime I've been putting all I can into my shows, it's not been easy, but I've been keeping at it.

The song of the moment today is Colorful World, by Shayna Rose, largely because I've been listening to it non stop as it's my audition song for The Wizard of Oz, if that weren't the case it would be Pink Pony Club, next time maybe.

Bye for now,

Love, Adam XxX
